What is the BCRFA Hospitality Insurance Task Force?

BCRFA FORMS INSURANCE TASK FORCE TO ADDRESS CURRENT MARKET CHALLENGES

The BCRFA and AC&D Insurance (BC Mainland) have teamed up to form the BCRFA Hospitality Insurance Task Force. The task force will assist members in addressing current challenges in procuring insurance for businesses the hospitality sector.
With the onset of the "hard market" for the general insurance industry, businesses in the hospitality sector have faced increased challenges procuring insurance over the last 12 months. As a response to these issues AC&D Insurance have formed a task force to provide information, risk management tips, and assistance in procuring insurance for businesses in the hospitality industry. Working directly with business owners, a BCRFA Hospitality Insurance risk consultant will assess and review business applications to assist in preparing their businesses to procure insurance coverage. Although Task Force Consultants are happy to assist any hospitality business with placement of insurance if required, the primary directive of the task force is to answer any questions a BCRFA member (or prospective member) may have about the insurance market in general or to provide risk management tips that will assist in improving the insurability of their business moving forward.

Finding the right  insurance package in the current market requires the assistance of a brokerage with knowledge and experience working with this industry. AC&D Insurance has worked with the BC Restaurant & Food Services Association and their membership for over 30 years.

At AC&D Insurance we have experience working with hospitality business owners to find the most suitable package to fit their needs and budget. Due to our long-standing industry affiliations we can offer packages and specialized coverages that are not available through other insurance brokers.

The limits and types of insurance needed for each hospitality business is different and we will work with you to find the right solution.
